Those of you who have read my posts over the years are familiar with my ongoing wishlists... so-called journeyman watches, timeless design, and desk clocks. Sadly, no matter what I do, the masters of elegant, masculine and mechanical desk clocks/small objets d'art, including Dunhill, Breguet and Jaeger LeCoultre have abandonned the art form for decades and show no inclination to revive the form in the foreseeable future.


But I have come across a new limited edition mechanical clock from ST Dupont, a collaboration with Franck Muller, which is delightful, but since I am not a smoker, will not be something I pursue.

Nevetheless, I applaud the creation, design and mirth of this:
